With 34 years' experience in life insurance and financial markets, Guy LAWSON-BODY is Managing Director of Wafa Assurance Life Ivory Coast.

An expert in Asset Engineering from the Ecole Supérieure d'Assurances de Paris, and a CGPC-certified Wealth Management Consultant, Guy also holds a Badge in Management from Skema Business School.

He began his career in the Paris region with Assurances Générales de Frances in 1990, where he held various middle and senior management positions, both before and after the takeover of AGF by Allianz in France in 2003.

In Africa, he held positions including Development Director of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières d'Afrique de l'Ouest in Abidjan, and Life Development Director for West and Central Africa in the Sanlam Group in Abidjan.

Before joining the Wafa Group in 2021, he was Deputy Managing Director of Sanlam Life Insurance Cameroon.

Franco-Togolese, he is married with 2 children and a grandson.
